I like to go to amusement parks and do word puzzles. I have chronic urticaria, I have a bunch of cats, and my absolute favorite hobby is travel. | | 音樂 | Some music I like: k.d. lang, God-des and She, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, Fatboy Slim, Broadway soundtracks, world music, 80s music, Notorious MSG, Puffy Ami Yumi. But I usually only listen to anything when I'm driving, and my radio is always tuned to NPR. | | 電影 | Some of my favorite movies are: Aimee and Jaguar, Before Night Falls, Boys Don't Cry, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Hedwig, Liquid Sky, Salmonberries - yeah, a lot of queer stuff, I dunno. | | 電視 | My favorite TV shows are: Star Trek, Stargate, Six Feet Under, CSI, It's Academic - yes, I am a BIG nerd. | | 書籍 | I like to read biographies, travelogues - that's about it. I collect books about deafness. | | 偶像 | My top heroes are Anne Frank, Anne Sullivan (Helen Keller's teacher), and myself - because I wanted to change my life, and I had the courage to DO IT! |

關於我：
I presently live in Northern Virginia, with my partner of 10 years. She and I have four cats, and we live with her little sister and the sister's husband.
I am a nationally certified sign language interpreter (CI/CT for those of you who know what that means), working in VRS. I love my job, but I never finished my undergrad degree, so I am now a full time student at Gallaudet University! I'm also hard of hearing and I wear binaural Oticon Epoq hearing aids. They have brought such joy into my life!
I have a ton of pictures posted in my Flickr account here. Outdoors, I like geocaching...it's the closest I come to any actual sport!
I have four tattoos and four piercings. I have one more tattoo semi-planned and another floating around in my head.

I went to Wilde Lake High School and graduated in 1997, and I also attended Western Maryland College, aka McDaniel College, from 1997-1998.
