woolytooth lived in the flesh from late 1993 to early 1996. the band started in tucson then briefly lived in austin and then virginia. woolytooth played over 200 shows in their brief run including a stop at an all female college in baltimore, the black cat in austin and several radio show on KXCI. their goal was to create energetic positive music that everyone could be a part of. the live shows frequently involved audience members getting a microphone and stating their case while the band grooved. the intent was healing and creation. this site is dedicated to the memory of this powerful band.
While the band members no longer make music together, as of this writing, they do still make music.
John Pardo plays guitar with
hollywood lightweights. They are based in Seattle.
John Williams plays bass and produces the linchpins. This band is based on the eastern seaboard.
Dan Frost is the leader of the new westerns. This band is based in the american southwest.
