FABRICE - A BIOGRAPHY
He was born in Bobigny, Seine St Denis, a suburb of Paris, France. At the age of six, his parents moved to Melun, Seine et Marne, where he studied in elementary with the Catholic nuns of Ecole St Marie. Just before starting high school, his parents decided to move in the South West of France and at the age of eighteen, he left home to study, first, Law and then English and American Civilisation Literature in Toulouse, Midi-Pyrenees. While studying and striving to pay for his College fees, he got a "serious" job in a marketing company and became quickly a manager for several years.
Back in Summer 2001, he decided to leave everything behind (job, house, relationship, friendship, material possessions and more) and left France with one suitcase to settle down in Madrid, Spain. As he became quickly frustrated by the barrier of the language (he went there knowing only the basics of Spanish,) he flew directly to the city he once swore he would never set his feet in: London, England. With no money and no warm clothes to wear in rainy and cold London, he contemplated either to go back to his "old" life or striving to make his dream come true. Whereas he was writing lyrics back in Madrid, he decided to write a screenplay when he got to London. At first, he wrote a pilot for a TV series, but left it aside to move on a grander scale: a long feature. When a co-production between a Los Angeles based production company and a major studio requested to read his final draft, he came to understand what he wrote would have been costing more money than a small production would been able to afford. This experience developed into a stronger interest in the production end of the film-making process. After graduation from the Hollywood Film Institute, Los Angeles, California, he founded the production company Blind Ambition Entertainment Ltd and since then he has spent his time developing many projects. The company produced the first project he wrote and directed: WORDS, a short movie depicting different scenes of a longer feature.

Your Myspace friendship in important to us… thanks.
My wife Diane and I asked our Myspace friends last week to tell us how you feel about the VT tragedy, in a constructive and healthy way. We offered our condolences to those who lost loved ones and expressed our sadness. Myspace friends overwhelmingly responded with loving concern, opinion and suggestions and what also became our own VT memorial at Surviving Bipolar. Your thoughts matter to us. As public speakers and advocates for bipolar disorder in a variety of ways your combined voices become the “heartbeat of bipolar disorder,” for us and you allow us to keep our finger on the pulse. Thank you so much for your response.
I have bipolar disorder and years ago was labeled falsely with statements that I was going to harm someone. This was never true. Leaders lied and people believed the slander which resulted in hundreds of people that I loved turning against me, a result of fear and lack of understanding. People shunned me like the plague and no one ever even asked me my side of the story. I now understand the destructive nature of slander and why it can never be repaired. I write of this in my book and how I contemplated taking my own life because of all of it. It was this labeling and false witness that became the darkest period of my life whereby suicide was on my mind. I have since forgiven everyone and am also sensitive to situations that could replay my horror for someone else.
So, our prayer is that those who suffer with the oppression of mental illness, depression and bipolar – like me, will not be stereotyped as harmful to others, but rather extended understanding and abundant healing love. Please join us in prayer and in your thoughts. Your comments are welcome.
I've been back in the edit suite and I've produced a leaner, meaner cut of Breakdown for MySpace's MyMovie MashUp. Check out this little black comedy of mine that was shot back in 2005 on next to no money and in the freezing cold.

My wife Diane and I, like all of you are deeply saddened by the recent college tragedy. We offer our condolences to those who lost loved ones. This is a very sad day for the world.
We would love to know how you feel about the tragedy, in a constructive and healthy way. Any thoughts and ideas are welcome. Please leave a comment or pass our Myspace on to a friend. Diane and I come into contact with a vast array of media, health care and government professionals, university administration, doctors, therapists and people in general who are just like you and me. Your voice really matters to us…
