About me: Workfare Incorporated is a not-for-profit corporation offering the American people a pro-active, grassroots solution to the loss of jobs in the United States as a result of outsourcing, downsizing and a faltering economy.
Workfare Incorporated will reduce unemployment and underemployment in the United States of America by creating socially useful jobs that pay a living wage.
We believe that providing meaningful employment for people who are willing and able to work is preferable to providing welfare.
We believe that raising money to create jobs through voluntary contributions to a charitable organization is preferable to redistributing income involuntarily through taxation.
We believe anyone who is willing and able to do socially useful work should be able to provide the basic necessities of life (food, shelter, and medical care)
for themselves and their dependents with the wages they receive for working.
Who I'd like to meet: People who are interested in taking action to solve the economic problems we face as a nation, instead of waiting for the government to ride to the rescue.
