I got my first start in internet marketing in 1995 when I bought my first website with no current job, a dial up internet connection and an idea. Back then there was no Google, no You Tube, no MySpace, just a bunch of people like myself that saw the potential that the internet had for people willing to take a risk.

After struggling for several years building my business it became evident to me that the internet was the biggest marketing breakthrough to hit mankind since the discovery of the printing press. It was amazing watching entire industries being created as well as, the slow transformation of many stubborn and slow moving industries that were being forced to change their ways.

I still remember back in 1996 when I approached my first car dealer with my idea to put their cars online and provide them with leads. I was thrown out of many offices and was told more than once that the internet was just a fad.

Well, over the past 14 years I have become an internet marketing expert specializing in search engines. I now own over 4,400 websites and several online businesses.

Several years ago I was introduced to a MLM opportunity and was at first skeptical because I remember back in the 80s when I was fresh out of college and joined an mlm and ended up with a garage full of detergent. Not a good experience. But that was then and this is now.

Network marketing today is going through a major transformation because of the internet. The problem is that many old school network marketers and companies are still doing it the same way they did 20 years ago. Unfortunately, they are still teaching newcomers the same outdated techniques.

This why the failure rate is still so high. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a flood of foward thinking people that are bucking the system and creating huge incomes using technology to build their network marketing business.

This is why there has never been a better time to start a home business in network marketing. also known as direct sales it has been endorsed by many successful business people like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett, Robert Kiyosaki and Paul Zane Pilzer.
