Working Title Playwrights's Interests
|
| Heroes | Amongst our membership, we have playwrights who have been produced across the USA, in the UK, Europe, Africa and Australia, and have received grants for individual works from the Pew Charitable Trusts, Theatre Communications Group, Hermann-Kester Stipend, Poets & Writers, Inc., the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Kennedy Center - among many others.
WTP enjoys professional collaborations with Academy Theatre, Horizon Theatre, Actor's Express, Theatre Emory, MultiShades Atlanta, Wordsmiths Books, and Chicago Dramatists.
We are grateful to our sponsors, Decatur Arts Alliance, Georgia Council for the Arts, Dekalb Council for the Arts, The Playwriting Center at Theater Emory/Sister Cities Project, and a host of individuals without whom our growth would not be possible. |

Working Title Playwrights's Blurbs |
About me:
We make new plays happen... by developing playwrights.
WTP works with playwrights, directors, actors, audiences, theatres and theatre organizations to help writers create their plays. We offer readings, educational seminars and opportunities for playwrights to see and hear their work onstage in its earliest stages and when it's ready for a full production by a theatre.
We also help our playwrights understand the process of promoting their plays and serve as a clearinghouse for theatres that are interested in new work.
