Works In Progress are a 6 piece live collective of producers, DJ’s and musicians. After a year of intense improvised jamming as resident band at Readings premier Hiphop night ’Beat Feast’, W I P went underground to work on an EP. Having played festivals from Hamswell to Henley and everwhere in between, and numerous gigs in and around london, the band has been working on some killer new material and have had a track released on a DAILY EXPRESS covermount CD last July 2007. ’W.I.P’ is all about the fun! As Mike Walsh from XFM said: "you guys could start a party in a morgue!". Don’t turn up to a gig of theirs and expect not to dance!!
All tracks written by Works in Progress (c) 2006
All tracks recorded and produced by Mr FrisK @ LeVeL 11 Studios

It's almost that time again where we ask you to grab your dance shoes, a few mates and your standard-issue MC Hammer funk trousers and get jiggy to Reading's liveliest funk/ soul band.
This month we are joined by Skankt (ska/rock) who are currently on their UK tour and DJ BMK - playing fresh drum n bass. Plus the usual antics of Toast n Flow's hip-hop open mic. We need MCs for that, so if you fancy spitting some bars to some live instrumental hip-hop classics then come and show us what you're made of!
It is also, unfortunately, the last time Jen-i will be performing live with the Junkyard before she leaves to pursue solo projects, so come and help give her the damn good send off she deserves!!
Yo boys...How's it going? Sunrise is shaping up well so far....Looking forward to seeing ya all live and meeting you out of myspaz world :) Hope all's well.... Lov lov Yasmin xx
