BREAK IN THE CLOUDS

words and music: bill mallonee

For God sakes, man, just there look as the city sleeps

tangled in her dirty dream sheets

and those.........storms........well, they are all spent now

that was the other world...she’s such an lonely girl

this is another world....and a break in the clouds

Couldn’t find my name on your guest list once again

the doorman of my life stamps my wrist and lets me

into the room...where your Tweed is sweet and loud

that was the other world...kind of a solid state girl

here is another world....and a break in the clouds

What I found about the truth is it usually doesn’t get heard

what I believe about love is that she always get the last word

on the street...of this God-forsaken-town

That was the other world...she’s such a pretty girl

Here is another world...and a break in the clouds

WPA Vol.2 is amazing. What a fine disc to add to your ever-expanding discography. It's a solid release and a great way to start off 2009.

And G*D said, "let there be light", and it was so...

Burn bright, my friend.
