For God sakes, man, just there look as the city sleeps
tangled in her dirty dream sheets
and those.........storms........well, they are all spent now
that was the other world...she’s such an lonely girl
this is another world....and a break in the clouds
Couldn’t find my name on your guest list once again
the doorman of my life stamps my wrist and lets me
into the room...where your Tweed is sweet and loud
that was the other world...kind of a solid state girl
here is another world....and a break in the clouds
What I found about the truth is it usually doesn’t get heard
what I believe about love is that she always get the last word
on the street...of this God-forsaken-town
That was the other world...she’s such a pretty girl
Here is another world...and a break in the clouds

UPDATE:
VIGILANTES OF LOVE have recently reformed. A new record is in the works to be recorded next year. WPA will be a site where demos of new songs will appear.
Bill Mallonee was the singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the Athens, Ga. Americana band, Vigilantes of Love from 1991-2001. They released 16 records to much critical acclaim. Bill has released 8 solo records since then and continues to tour with his wife, Muriah Rose. He writes about 50 songs a year.
WPA Vol.2 is amazing. What a fine disc to add to your ever-expanding discography. It's a solid release and a great way to start off 2009. Bless you and yours
