About me: The World Dance Office at Portland State University is a Student-run organization that promotes dance,in general, on the PSU campus, and city-wide; promotes diversity; and our big thing: we organize dance and music workshops and events. We have a special interest in music and dance from the African Diaspora, but we love dance in general. Our workshops have covered Afro-cuban, Hip-hop, Bhangra, West African, Eastern European and more. Our guest artists have included: Teresita Dome' Perez, Silfredo Lao Vigo, Juan de Dios Ramos Morejon and Miguelito Bernal from Conjunto Folklorico Raices Profundas, Tania Santiago, Jorge Alabe, Boca Rum, Michael Spiro and Mark Lamson, Rosangela Silvestre, Members of Los Munequitos de Matanzas, Jose Barroso, Monique Hume, Okaidja Afroso,DJ Anjali, Paula Reis,Freyla Merencio Blanco and so many more!

IF Hired :
SFHHDF PROVIDES-
· Travel expenses and/or performance fees
· A packed house at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in which to perform
· Invitations to attend any and all VIP events hosted by the SFHHDF
· Opportunities to connect with dancers from all over the globe
· Media coverage
COMPANIES MUST PROVIDE-
· Companies MUST provide a HIGH RES URL, BIO and PHOTO
· Companies must submit/audition THE SAME PIECE that they intend to perform
· Pieces must be between 6-9 MINUTES long
