About the World Independent Music Association
Founded in 2003, the World Independent Music Association is an artist and industry-driven organization, that provides resources to the artists and participants in the music industry from a working class level and is the Official Authority Governing Independent Music on all levels including but not limited to Pop, Rap, Rock, Blues, Folk, Christian and Country.
A percentage of the funds generated from the financial resources will be dispersed to select charitable organizations to ensure the on-going philanthropic work of its Charitable Fund.
The World Independent Music Association was primarily developed to govern the equality of rights among musicians, performers, associate affiliate organizations and associations and to insure fair business practices to active members throughout the industry.
