About me:
The WORLD RABIES DAY CAMPAIGN is a unified show of support for anti-rabies efforts. Arising as an annual day of action on September 28th, this initiative continues to bring together thousands of persons each year, from health experts to everyday people, all committed to the fight against this devastating, yet easily preventable disease.
The World Rabies Day Campaign advocates for the improved health of the entire population (human and animal) through a "One Medicine" approach and is the ONLY WORLDWIDE EVENT OF ITS KIND FOCUSED ON GLOBAL RABIES CONTROL AND PREVENTION.
Did you know that RABIES IS THE DEADLIEST DISEASE known to man?
Did you know that ONE PERSON DIES FROM RABIES EVERY TEN MINUTES?
Did you know that over half of those deaths consist of CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 15?
Did you know that RABIES IS ENTIRELY VACCINE PREVENTABLE?
