I have done Good Morning San Diego, several news channels, Inside Edition, and even Ellen Degeneres producers called, (but they flaked out and never called back)... This is a fun time for me.. I am very well loved and of course I am adorable!
On 4-20-06 I was in the San Diego newspaper as a pretty big feature.
You see, I am a bit rare or unusual...so they say.
My mom is a munchkin cat and my dad is a large red tabby cat. I turned out like neither of them. I was different. I was born really small and my head wasnt. It looked laughable. YES,People did laugh.
Tiff (my owner) made jokes in a Scottish accent (like MIKE MEYERS on So I Married An Axe Murderer) and said, "Look at the HEED on that lil guy". So my name became Heed. It stayed that way. I am 3.5 inches tall and 2 lbs. I went to the Dr. to find out that I am fine. I am just small.
Tiff knew I was pretty special I was so small she was worried. I was fine. She took me to get my shots and the people said I was the tiniest kitten at 8 weeks they had ever seen!
Tiff sent a information about me and a request to do record breaker attempt for the Guinness Book of World Records. It has been accepted and they measured me. So she did a press release about the good news, and all kinds of people showed up! Turns out I was on the cover of the DRUDGE REPORT, CNN, 3 tv stations in San Diego, NBC, CBS, ABC in several major cities and we're getting calls from people in Japan, China, New York, San Francisco, Florida, Chicago, and lots more. They all had seen me on the news in their town. That means I went nation wide! I am a celebrity, even if I have a huge head!
My kitty friends run me down when we play and I never get up the scratch post. It's bad enough I have to have a special cat box so I can get in to go potty... but damn, they bomb me and run up it and I am too short... it just ain't fair.
Well that's my life! Little Legs Rule!
Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet all the MINI MEW Munchkin lovers out there, with 2 or 4 legs... People who criticize me are not welcome, I don't really care for the sex stuff, so no need to add me to your friends list if you promote that, thanks, but I am not interested.
