WORLD'S FAIR is a Chicago-based 7-piece comprising of Mike Philpot - drums, Brittany Moffitt - vocals, Garrett McGinn - bass, Charlie Coffeen - keys, and a veritable trio of doom in the guitar work of Anthony Bracco, Juan Galindo and Colin Brennan.
The group formed in a classroom at Chicago's Columbia College where they, under the guidance of Gary Yerkins (Chicago's Insiders) and Chuck Webb (David Sanborn, Ramsey Lewis), took to melding an aural pot of diverse themes and elements.
Now on their own, World's Fair looks to continue their amalgamation down whatever road lies ahead. By mixing aspects of jazz, prog, pop and much more they have found the ingredients for a most delicious yet distinct brew.
For fans of Radiohead, King Crimson, Mike Patton, Mars Volta and Pink Floyd.
