World West Investments, Inc. is an exclusive buyer agency. This means that we only work for real estate buyers. Our company never takes listings. It is very important for buyers to become educated about exclusive buyer agency, because the knowledge gained means the difference between being an uninformed buyer, and becoming an empowered real estate consumer.
I have dedicated 11 years to the advocacy of buyer agency, with the past 4 years dedicated to exclusive buyer agency. This is not as simple as it may seem. Specializing in exclusive buyer agency is indeed a calling, which goes against the grain of traditional real estate services. Exclusive buyer agency helps to ensure fairness, and a balanced closing table between buyers and sellers in real estate.
Before buyer agency came along, buyers mistakenly believed that the agent working for them was theirs, when in fact, they were really dealing with a "sub-agent" of the seller. Nowadays, buyers and sellers must contend with the issue of Dual Agency, which is a conflict of interest in real estate, best avoided.
"Any licensed real estate agent in the United States can legally act as a 'buyer's agent,' although not all have experience doing so. You can also engage what's called an 'exclusive buyer's agent.' This is the purest form of buyer representation"
Who I'd like to meet: People who are interested in learning about exclusive buyer agency, and how it empowers buyers in the real estate market.

We must act with courage and have faith in all we do, for there is no honor in shrinking. The possibilities in life are limitless if we do not place limits upon ourselves, or allow limits to be placed upon us by others. Be strong and persevere for what is right in this world. The good things that come to the world as a result of what we accomplish, will be well worth the effort invested.
Peace to you!
Suzette
"To have a vision is to begin with a belief about what is possible and what is worth striving for. But many who can believe in possibilities do not have the courage to move toward them."
--Blaine Lee, The Power Principle: Influence with Honor ( page 188)--
"The first phase of personal change, awakening, begins when something disturbs
the status quo. The unexpected happens and the emotional impact on us is great.
We cannot ignore this wake-up call. The disruption and its attendant pain are too
intense. We are thrown far out of our comfort zone. Disequilibrium occurs. Old ideas are undone. Old habits are challenged. We are forced to release old ways of thinking. The illusion that we have it together is broken. We are gradually or suddenly aware that things are not the way we had supposed. All significant change begins with this awareness."
--Blaine Lee: The Power Principle: Influence with Honor (p. 295 - 296)--
"Our greatest sorrows and our greatest joys come in our interactions with other people. If it takes a lifetime to bless one life, what joy that can bring. And if, along the way, we bless and are blessed in turn by many others, what a rich life we will have had."
"We can encourage each other in our pursuits, difficult though life may be. No one really has any answers for anybody else. Perhaps the best we can do is pause on the sidelines from time to time, bandage each other's wounds, suggest an idea or two and some encouragement, then jump back into the game (of life)."
--Blaine Lee, The Power Principle: Influence with Honor (p. 322)-
"How powerful are you now? You must start where you are. It will not be easy; but it will be worth it, because as you improve, your capacity to help others will also improve."
"Personal change is a three part process that requires giving up old views and behaviors, considering new possibilities, and then stabilizing new ways. It consists of challenging old ideas, gaining awareness, experiencing hope, trying new ways by doing something new that is congruent with what we really want. But it is not neatly linear. In the real world it is messy and there are detours and sometimes your heart breaks and you get lost. It takes time. It can be discouraging. It takes persistence and commitment. It will require patience. And it's like cultivating a beautiful flower; you can't plug one in, you have to grow it and tend to it, and protect it and nurture it. For a while it is fragile. But it is a work of art, and it will benefit all who see it. It can be the same with your life."
--Blaine Lee, The Power Principle: Influence with Honor-
I read these comforting words today, and thought I would share them with you. :)
** Have the compassion to understand; then have the courage to be understood.
"--Seek first to understand-involves a very deep shift in paradigm. We typically seek first to be understood. Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply. They're either speaking or preparing to speak. They're filtering everything through their own paradigms, reading their autobiography into other people's lives"
--Stephen Covey: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People-
