LAST SHOW D.C. 5.28.05
Worn Thin, first formed in the Washington, D.C. area between late 1999 and early 2000, they are the next in a line of hardcore bands from that city. Early on, there was a revolving door of band members, playing random shows here and there, but never establishing a consistent line-up. In May of 2001 they recorded a five song s/t 7" for Malfunction/ Deathwish Records and soon after formed their strongest line-up yet. Playing extensively on the East Coast and selling out of their s/t 7", they began to establish themselves as an important band in the hardcore community. Merging elements of aggression and melody WORN THIN has often been compared to Turning Point and Verbal Assault. They recorded a six song 7" on Youngblood Records which is now available as an enhanced CD together with the s/t 7", two bonus tracks and a video. Their last show in Washington, DC on 5.28.05, saw the release of their full length LP on Youngblood Records titled "Long Road Ahead." The members went on to join/ form the following bands: Lion Of Judah, Set to Explode, Police & Thieves, Government Warning, Goddamn Wolves, Wasted Time, Killer Fiction and Trapped Under Ice.
KBD RECORDS is looking for fast hardcore, powerviolence, thrashcore bands to release 7"s or full lengths. Bands interested are welcome. We enjoy Koro, Deathwish, Infest, No Comment, Indigesti, Straight Ahead, Mob 47, Heresy. Get in touch ! KBD RECORDS
