In a scene divided by cliques and strict genres, Worthless United paved their way by crossing over, under, and through all the lines by playing honest and passionate punk rock and roll to anyone who would listen. Taking inspiration from a wide range of influences and shaping them into a present day context, Worthless United won a devoted following from the most wide-eyed kid at his/her first show to the most jaded skinhead sitting alone at the bar.
During their decade long existence, Worthless United toured North America with bands like The Bouncing Souls, Hot Water Music, Catch 22, River City Rebels, Bigwig, and countless others. After years of drug abuse, incest, beastiality, veganism, and other moral and ethical calamities, the band called it quits in 2003.
Zak currently plays in The Ratchets, Steve plays in the River City Rebels, Dave goes to school, and Scott is working his talent and charm on the silver screen.
All four Worthless United compact discs are available for sale at www.chunksaah.com!
I discovered your music a thousand or two miles away and a few years after the band broke up - it's a big bummer - because your discs have become some of my all time favorite music
Could you do my a favor and plan a reunion show and let me know like a month or two before hand so I can make plans to come out and visit during that time... Thanks Zak =-)
It's really not fair to me that after all this time, you guys are doing this when I'm gonna be away. I'll be in Texas while you douchebags are playing.
i got some questions. whos running this account exactly and when was it when you broke up? my brother wants to know because zaks our cousin and we only saw him like three times in our lifes. haha sad. im pathetic.
Saw ya with catch 22 10-10-03, great show. Seriously one of my favorite punk bands. Hope there will be a reunion show at any point. Anyway awesome job with the albums, I love em.
I'm so glad I heard of you guys before you broke up. But now I can never see you play a show. What's that all about. Just 'cause you're on the east coast doesn't mean your second reunion has to be over there. what about the good ole deserts of Arizona? Because reunion shows are always fun right.
I'm afraid you guys are gonna have to play another reunion show, seeing as how at the last ones you didn't play "New Tomorrow" which is the best song you ever wrote.
Get it together quick while Steve is still on the East Coast.
Question: Did "Which Side Are You On" come from a lyric in "Desolation Row" by Dylan? This topic has been the subject of great debate between me and no one.
i love you guys. yall played a show for 3 or 4 people in nashville about 5 years ago or so and gave everyone a free cd. it gave this lonely pathetic punk some hope.
