Chi sono: Worth the Wait is non-profit educational, organization that partners with school districts in the Texas Panhandle. We focus on teaching teens from the ages of 12-18 about abstinence from sex, drugs and alcohol, and also encourage students to make healthy life choices.
Some people often get the wrong idea about our program, and they mistake us for a "faith-based" organization...but we are not. We simply offer an educational program where students can learn to live a good, positive life and have a successful future. It is important to us that students succeed to their fullest potential.
STUFF FOR PARENTS
Not only do we target teens, but we also target parents and encourage them to keep communication lines open with their teens. Parents are more influential in their teens' lives than they think they are, and statistics show that teens actually WANT their parents to talk to them and tell them what their expectations are.
