Let the countdown to "Tick Fest" begin! Looking forward to the late night Scrabble games, the sound of the wolves in the (hopefully) far off distance, and the smell of the burnt brats on the Weber!!!

About me:

I was born in Portland, Maine, but also spent my formative years in Georgia, Virginia, and New York. In grade school I gained slight notoriety--and detention--for caricatures of my teachers. My comic strip in Northwestern University’s student newspaper was honored by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association; and my most recent work, "Small Wonder," has been featured in Michael Jantze’s "The Norm Magazine," Viper Comic's website, and the Panel Mammals.

Recently I have been collaborating with Dwight MacPherson on a webcomic/graphic novel entitled "Kid Houdini and the Silver-Dollar Misfits." It will debut over at the Chemistry Set on October 31, All Hallow's Eve.

My family and I now live near Chicago; along with Newt, Jackie, Carver, raccoons, skunks, maniacal birds, a mangy cat, and more bunnies than you can shake a stick at. I credit my children with being a constant source of perspiration.

Who I'd like to meet:

Harpo Marx, Charles Schulz, Jeff MacNelly, Chuck Jones, Walt Kelly, Theodore Geisel, Bill Hicks, and Harry Houdini. Wait a minute! They're all dead. Wonder what that means ...

Okay, now for some living, breathing people: Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, Bob Newhart, Brad Bird, John Lasseter, George Lucas, Tim Burton, Bill Amend, Berkeley Breathed, and the ever-elusive Bill Watterson.
