But yes, the new stuff I've heard by Maximo Park is really good - haven't heard the entire album but heard quite a few of the new songs. Unfortunately, I think they're far too famous and I'm far too insignificant to get any more interviews now :-( Have some good news though - just found out I got onto a Masters programme in International Relations in London starting in September so I'm very happy! Have you finished your exams yet? Hope all's going well, speak soon Jess xx

Jess	Aug 7 2006 6:43 PM If only I could get to Lowlands! Finances aren't in the best shape at the minute! Are you going to be able to get time off work to go? I'm definitely meeting up with people in September though! Everything here is pretty boring at the minute - having to do loads of work for next year that I should have done whilst I was in Coimbra - oops! Had a few good nights out in beautiful Newcastle though and have got myself properly re-acquainted with English music :-) It's all much better than "Maria Albertina", I reckon. Lots of sunbathing and no more paleness for me! (although everyone over here is beginning to look more tanned than me already, dammit!) Still missing Coimbra a lot although I haven't quite forgiven the Portuguese for beating us in the football....again. Well I think Gry is busy planning our summer reunion so I guess I'll be seeing you again pretty soon! Until then, have a great summer and keep in touch! (Oh, and speaking of good summers, you're going to Lowlands right? I am suitably VERY jealous - the lineup looks fantastic!) Jess xx
