I am a singer-songwriter from Amsterdam with strong ties to the Moravian countryside in the Czech Republic. As long as I can remember I have been making music and I am sure I will continue to do so the rest of my life. I started out playing classical piano but in high school I was more interested in playing bass guitar in metal and hardcore bands. Writing my own music in these bands made sense so I applied the same trick to the piano. Very slowly I build up a small repertoire of jazzy pop songs and I even got on stage once in a while. Just when I started feeling comfortable on stage I left Amsterdam to go study in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Luckily I found an old piano to practice on and the new environment inspired me to write more songs. New people gave me the opportunity to explore some foreign stages and in June 2005 a friend set up a blind date with 4 boys who were willing to accompany me. It was love at first sight and a week later we had our first concerts. Unfortunately I moved back to Amsterdam that same week. Since then I go back to the Czech Republic as often as I can to do small tours with this band and they also found their way to Holland for some gigs in my home country. After the summer we will record our first album in Prague and until then we'll do many gigs in and around Czech and Holland.
