Kurt has been with so many popular LA punk bands its a wonder hes still so young! These include FDEFECTIVE, Stukas Over Bedrock, and PissAnt. On a good night fans can be treated to Kurts famous Moon Shots. Kurt loves bowling and showboarding! Kurt wrote "Love Warranty" on the second CD.

Wound Girls is a 1/2 female hardcore punk band with an intellectual appeal crossing age and gender boundaries. Our lyrics are mostly political and mostly focus on feminist, anti-racist, and pro-bisexual issues. Our fans range from very young to college age and beyond. We have a strong and seductive image. We have played in LA, Ventura County, San Diego, and Las Vegas. Wound Girls was started by Sondra Seven (guitar) and Kurt Mize (drums) when record label owner Pete Grella (Bloody Daggre records) introduced them.
