About Transgression Overthrown

"Transgression Overthrown" is an Internet radio show that I host which plays mostly metal
and sometimes I start the show off with some hard rock.
WPMD is the radio station we broadcast from at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.
I have been involved with radio since 1998 and have always loved heavy music.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed I like it a little louder and heavier with age.
European metal bands like Meshuggah, In Flames, Soilwork, The Haunted, and many others
have opened up my ears to a barrage of different styles of metal.
I am a current student at Cal State University Fullerton graduting with my degree in Communications,
Entertainment within the next year along with a minor in Radio/TV/Film.
My goal is to get metal back on terrestrial (FM) radio in Los Angeles.
Since 105.5 KNAC, Long Beach went off the air in 1996 that has been a goal of mine.
I am always looking for new bands to play on the air, especially local ones. Feel free to contact me for more information at: wpmdmetal @hotmail.com.
Starting August 18th the show will air every Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. pacific time.
It is also re-broadcast Saturday’s from 10 p.m. until midnight PST.
