WPSC 88.7 FM North Jersey's Independent Radio, is owned and operated by the William Paterson University Board of Trustees, and is part of the William Paterson Broadcasting Network. The studios of WPSC are within Hobart Hall, on the campus of William Paterson University. The station started in 1968 as a closed circuit station. In 1988 the station began broadcasting, as North Jersey's Independent Radio, to an audience of over 2 million listeners. With over 90 On-Air Personalities, the radio station has some of the most diverse music programs in New Jersey. The station staff includes students of WPUNJ, WPUNJ alumni, and members of the community.
