Smooth Jazz CD101.9 is New York's chill out station that brings a soothing and relaxing blend of Smooth Jazz instrumentals and timeless popular vocals from the past three decades. You'll hear artists like Sade, George Benson, Dave Koz, Anita Baker, Chris Botti and David Sanborn in our Smooth Jazz mix.
The CD101.9 Internship Program is for students that are looking to get their foot in the door of New York's radio industry. We are looking for college students that are hard working and motivated with a Communications, Marketing or similar major. Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general office duties, working one-on-one with listeners and contest winners, hand on experience of writing public service announcements, updating press releases, participating in the planning and execution of on-site events and learning the day to day operations of the radio business!
Requirements
Internships are for academic credit only and are unpaid
Must be college Juniors or Seniors
15-20 hours per week are manditory
A working knowledge of the tri-state area and mass transportation is recommended
Office and phone skills preferred
An outgoing and tenatious personality!
