I am 45 years old now (on January 2), and I work at a large regional hospital in Central Texas. I enjoy sports (go Univ of Texas!) and music, day-long drives and movies.     Baby just know that whatever happens I am here for you. We will be just fine. Loving you with all my heart. Cant wait to see you hold your first grandchild for the first time. I know you will be an excelant grandfather. Nicole and the baby are so lucky to have you. Just as Tara and Adam are.

    I'm about to go through a very difficult period with my job and there is a very real possibility that I could lose it through no fault of my own but through the heartless and uncaring actions of several co-workers there. BUT whatever happens with me...I will get through it all OK. We will see what happens...

    Just found out today that I'm going to be a grandfather for the first time. It's pretty overwhelming, at least for now, but news like this puts things into further perspective. You begin to realize where you stand in life.

    It's going to take a little while for this to sink in, but I am very happy and I now have a lot to do to get ready for the big day!
