sounds similar to what would happen if wisdom era 16volt listened to too much leatherstrip and tried to rip off skinny puppy... goes great with chemical enhancers of the nastier variety.
wraith is not re-inventing the electronic music wheel, nor is that it's design or intent. wraith is a means of personal expression. it's industrial music with a focus on songwriting. a sonically layered soundscape combining elements of leatherstrip, 16volt, skinny puppy, nine inch nails. wraith's music is designed to exist equally on the dancefloor, on the stage and on the headphones. the music summons the essence of old school industrial harshness and aggression, levels of soundscapes and samples, and minimalist punk guitars that don't dominate the mix. lyrically, wraith has a mind of its own, bringing forth horror movie terror into personal fears and idealogies; a philosophy of hope crawling from the wreckage that our shattered reality, immoral society and hollow religions have left us in.
hey man. what's up? i just saw that you were doing live electronics for Sirens in Vein, which is the band that my drummer (for Illusion's Fate) produced. hahaha. small fucking world. anyway, looking forward to the show at Rabbit's next saturday, and many after that...
Happy Holidays from Dave, Jean, Bart and WTII Records. Thanks for being a part of the "WTII sunday showcases" in 2008 let's work on getting you back to chicago in 2009!
Yes, we're home. I’ve heard how people feel about vacations; it's good to get away but it's also good to get home. Yet I feel so torn when I have to leave my sons and go home. They did everything in their limited power to make sure we had a great time-especially Jason and his wife, Tine. They made us feel at home while we stayed at their apartment during our visit. What can I say about Washington State? Being surrounded by so much beauty was breathtaking. We went to a beer festival, Mount Rainer, a wildlife preserve, countless restaurants, breweries, and rode back in style to Seattle on one of the largest ferries in the U.S! The weather was perfect as if it had been ordered especially for us. The days were cool and sunny-what more could you ask for? We admired strange foliage and all types of Fern trees. There were many bushes bursting with color. We visited two different beaches, countless lakes and all the while Mt. Rainer stood in the background almost like a silent beautiful ghost. We were treated to fresh seafood, delicious pork sandwiches and a turkey sandwich at Salumi’s (Malto Mario’s father’s shop) in town. We also enjoyed very special desserts at The Cold Stone! Jason bought us many cups of frapuccino coffee topped with cream and drizzled with caramel - Mmmmmmm! Good! But the most enjoyable part of our visit was being with our loved ones! Being together and putting away all of our differences, utilizing our common traits with fun and laughter, swapping stories and telling jokes! That's what being a family is about. I loved every moment of my visit. Love is the glue that holds families together.
