Wrathchild is possibly the most authentic sounding Iron Maiden tribute to date. Each member brings many years playing experience to the group giving Wrathchild the ability to accurately duplicate the musicianship and sound of Iron Maiden. Formed in 2008 the group includes members of other succesful NY area tribute bands.
Branko Z. has spent almost 10 years singing tribute to Iron Maiden and proving to audiences his ability to rival the vocal performance of Bruce Dickinson. As a testament to his abilities he also spends time meeting the arduous task of recreating Geoff Tate’s vocals in the Queensryche tribute band Mindcrime.
John Emanuel has also spent many years playing guitar in tribute to Iron Maiden. Many people have commented on his ability to duplicate Dave Murray’s style and guitar tone. Having vast experience and knowledge of equipment John prides himself on his ability to recreate the tones of different guitar players. As proof of this he also spends time duplicating the sound and performance of Wilton/DeGarmo in the Queensryche tribute band Mindcrime.
Tom V. is well known for his incredible talent as a drummer and presently plays in the band Wreckollection as well. Not only is Tom a precise timekeeper but he skillfully switches between the styles of Clive Burr and Nicko McBrain as needed for the song to be played. He makes it look easy all the while doing it unconventionally as a lefty and sometimes sporting a fancy hat.
Guy Santangelo is an extremely accomplished guitar player with many years of live experience. Halfway through the 1st song played with Guy, the band knew they had found their 2cnd guitarist. Guy is also a knowledgeable gear aficionado who can easily recreate the tones necessary to nail the Murray/Smith tandem.
Sebastian V. was the last member to join the group and is also Tommy’s brother. Seb is a tremendous finger player who easily and accurately reproduces the signature galloping bass line of Steve Harris. Seb and Tommy have played together for many years and have a very identifiable chemistry together.
Wrathchild was born out of the love for the music of Iron Maiden. We all share the same goal of faithfully recreating the sound of one of the greatest metal bands ever. We hope you will come listen and appreciate what you see and hear and enjoy yourself while doing it.
