listed in order of joining: SICK- key song writer and arranger, lead vocals, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, haircuts. lites things on fire, swears alot, announces a girlie show. also known as "surly" joe jargon. creditted as "world's foremost loose rope walker", "world's worst juggler", and "world's strongest pussy". MICHAEL RUBIN - 2 dozen harmonicas, shout harmonies, sight reading. DO NOT call him Mike. his harmonica can cut you in half. he's an amazing teacher, the perfect straight man in the theatrical sense, and can do that stomache rolly thing. JON DOYLE - this guy was one of the first musicians in the band, and will definitely be recording more with the band, and making occasional live performances. he plays clarinet, several saxes, musical jug, and sings ooze and oz. OLIVER STECK - what can't be said? he plays accordian, trumpet, sings, improvises whole songs on the spot, can fall down on command, and shouts till YOUR voice hurts. he also occasionally dances at people, and announces girlies when applicable. all that, and he's a new daddy! SPYDER- the other guy in the band with one name, he plays the drums like only a Brooklyn Italian can. Each strike sounds like he's wacking somebody, or offing somebody, or whacking-off somebody. it's like a great new yorker once said, "go fuck yourself". i'm really happy that i have a fellow northeasterner in the band, as very few people can appreciate shit talking like the 2 of us. he plays bluegrass faster than anyone in texas. JOSH HOAG - though preoccupied lately, this slap happy bassist found the time to rock out on THRASH FOLK, as few Austin bassists can. he's part time for now, but the dude can play stand up behind his back, or while holding it like a bazooka. i don't want to know what he and his instrument share behind closed doors... JIMI DREAMS- say what you will, but this kid is the master of funny hair. i mean big, led zepplin-y hair, the kind of hair a bird could nest in. add tiedyed jammies, or bib overalls and his trade mark specs, i mean, he's like a clown's hairball. oh yeah, he plays the shit out of funk and gypsy jazz guitar, also. and sings good throaty harmonies. so put a glide in yo' stride, and a dip in yo' hip. oh, and he has big hair. WILLIE "CRASH" LANDIN- this master musician is a fantastic bassist, mind blowing. he also brings that really dirty tuba to the band, sings high harmonies, composes electronic noise music, and has perfect pitch. lucky bastard... DAVID "DEEMO" MOSS- cellist extrordinaire, definitely brings a level of class to the band. wether walking slinky bass lines under gypsy jazz chunking, or ripping sweeping solo's with the attack of a trumpet section, this musician is a great add to the band, and also composes and writes and plays guitar and sings raspier than i can attempt. he's on THRASH FOLK as part of his and sick's string quartet, "RETARDANDO".

Sounds Like
if split lip rayfield had a tuba and accordian, or if nirvana had a banjo, or if duke ellington had a slide whistle, or if trent reznor had a petting zoo, or if ac/dc had an exwife, or if dixieland had methamphetamines, or if danny elfman had a combo, or if south park had no budget, or if punk rock had a fiddle.

"Sick’s Pack is a group of several of my favorite Austin musicians. The majority of our music is original, in styles ranging from ragtime to blues to gypsy jazz to bluegrass to funk to metal to classical to punk to what ever. We are a predominantly accoustic band, and the live show is high energy speed country or dark limric driven dixieland. The great thing about this current line up of pickers is they can really set a mood, like they’re method acting thru the songs to convey it’s feel visually, tonally, and spiritually. And they’re hilarious and strange. I couldn’t do this without them." - Sick
