    We announce every bout that the girls are doing this on their own - for the love of derby; yours and theirs. Thus injures are on their own as well. We make this announcement every bout, because someone is hurt or has the potential for serious injury every bout.

    So, the Dallas Derby Devils Injured Skaters Fund is set up to support our girls on the mend.

    We would like to thank all of the fans that have contributed to the ISF. We really appreciate it and your support.

About me:

The Wrecking Crew is a team that is proud, energetic, diligent and strong-willed as well as strong-bodied. Our goals as a team are to be aggressive but fair, competitive but non-judgmental, and of course, to be the best roller derby team Dallas has ever seen! The Wrecking Crew is ready to break down ANY obstacles in our path while giving a nod towards working class pride. Our team colors are navy, white, and yellow...these may represent loyalty, pride, or caution tape...but it depends on which derby girl you ask...

In a world full of diversity, questions, values, and wars one thing unifies the women of the Wrecking Crew--they are hardworkin' ladies. They come from all different walks of life, carry their lunch pails, don their hardhats, punch in, and do what they do best: skate hard and demolish all in their sight...

As you pass their work site you see one sign, bright yellow and menacing CAUTION: DERBY GIRLS AT WORK. You can watch, but don't stand in one place for too long, you never know what could fly your way...possibly one of their opposing team members, a skate, or a stick of dynamite...

The Wrecking Crew is here to do two things and have no intention of clocking out until the job is complete: SKATE AND DESTROY!
