Simply put—we love creating original works that are influenced by our environment and are physically expressed through extraordinary characterizations. When chewing on a new creation we make sure certain ingredients are present:

Physical…
We are Masterbiters. We’ve borrowed from the greats. From Suzuki to Freedom Factory, Viewpoints to Laban, Chakras and Animal exercises, we’ve studied them all, grabbed what we have liked, and funneled it into our own technique when developing a character and telling a story—physicality being the spring in our board.
Original…
We have produced adaptations in the past, but for some time we have been writing and creating our own original works. Since we love to challenge ourselves to grow as artists, we encourage production roles to change per project so that an ensemble member can choose to be involved as a director, playwright, designer or actor depending on his/her interest in a particular show. Projects are chosen by the Co-Artistic Directors and work-shopped as an ensemble.

Tapping the conscious and unconscious streams within the psyche of society is essential in our storytelling. It’s not just about politics or the latest trends, it’s about the human experience and we strive to connect to our audience. Our ultimate goal is to share our thoughts and emotions with our audience that will lead to great discussions.
