All Music Guide calls The Wrenfields An excellent ensemble craftily creating fantastic music that demonstrates their stellar musicianship and togetherness as a cohesive performing ensemble.
Doug Floyd at Altcountrytab.com says if I could get to play in my ideal alt-country band, this is the kind of music Id playjust enough twang and some great country-edged rock.the Wrenfields are well worth tracking down
Since forming in 2000, the Wrenfields have proven to be one of the smartest-thinking, hardest-working, loudest-rocking alt-country bands. The members combine their diverse musical influences and wealth of experiences to deliver a brand of genre-crossing music that garners critical accolades, not only from national press but also critics in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Japan and Canada.
The Wrenfields first album 21st Century Pioneer (2001) and follow-up release Seconds (2002) were both produced by Tyler Brown (Mark Olson, Victoria Williams), and collectively sold 10,000 copies; both albums received international critical acclaim. Every Now and Then, the first single from Seconds, made its way to the European Country Charts. In their hometown of Detroit, the band is a standard-bearer, having been awarded numerous Detroit Music Awards for both recording and performance, and in 2005, was awarded Special Honoree status.
For their upcoming release (Early 2010), The Wrenfields have teamed up with Gary Louris (The Jayhawks) and Ed Ackerson (Polara); recording and producing the album at Ackersons Flowers Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Louris has formed a production team with Ackerson, and the pair is actively collaborating with both established and developing artists. Some of their works include the recently released Golden Smog album and Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion's critically acclaimed 2005 album Exploration. The Wrenfields new material reveals a more interpersonal side of lyricists and co-lead singers Noreen Novrocki and John Pyro and displays yet another face of this versatile band.
The Wrenfields have showcased at some of the largest outdoor festivals in the Mid-West including the Budweiser Detroit Downtown Hoedown which draws more than a million music fans over a 3-day weekend each May. Additionally, they have shared the stage with a diverse field of performers, such as Darrel Worley, The Silos, Lorrie Morgan, Kentucky Headhunters, Fred Eaglesmith, Jim Roll, Pin Monkey, and Restless Heart; to name a few. The Wrenfields wowed the crowds at the 2005 Six Flag Kentucky Kingdom Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, the 2003 North by Northeast (NXNE) Festival in Toronto, the 2005 Mid-Point Music Festival (MPMF) in Cincinnati, Ohio... The band has made several television appearances including a nationally broadcasted PBS concert and a feature on MSNBC.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

Time to Stop Using the Detroit Incinerator & Support the New Business Model for Detroit Solid Waste
Detroit's Solid Waste future is on the line — Mayor Dave Bing can either support the New Business Model for Detroit Solid Waste, materials recovery and the economic development, or he can "stay the course with incineration."
Urge Mayor Bing to support the New Business Model for Detroit Solid Waste, which has a solid waste budget that is $1.7M less than that approved by City Council and has no incineration. Recycling generates more jobs and economic activity than incineration, and is less costly in the long run.
The best business, and less pollution, for Detroit Solid Waste is the New Business Model. Please take action today!

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
