Wrist Bandits is a four course meal, with a hidden agenda. Their sound is catchy, melodic punk rock. What sets them apart from the herd is their powerful gang vocals along with harmonic lyrical patterns, and unique toning structures.
In the beginning, childhood friends, Danger and Danibal were inspired to devote their lives to musical endevours. They grew up in a small town in south Georgia where there was nothing to do but reproduce, operate farm equipment, or play music. However, due to low sperm counts and horrible motor skills, they were left with only one option. Shortly after this career conception, their counter- terrorist friend weaseled his way into the band with well crafted lies of his percussion prowess. Luckily, an adaptive nature allowed them to overcome their initial inability to actually play their instruments. Because of an incredible work ethic, unstoppable determination, and advice from the Elderbeast, the guys matured as musicians.
The three piece bandits have always aspired to add a fourth member, and like so, fourth- times- a- charm. After three member changes before him, Kiwi finally graced the scene. With this final lineup the guys made a name for themselves by playing any show they could get their hands on. At a random show in Atlanta, the band was approached by a mysterious stranger by the name of Soloman. After running sound for the Bandits at the venue, he was intrigued enough to help the band relocate to a city that was more suited for their sound.
Now being one of the premiere punk bands in Athens, Georgia, they have developed a form of "cult following." The band is currently working towards becoming a nationally touring act.
