I just saw the movie Hostel and really liked it. Don't believe the hype, it is not that gorey but then again, I am a horror writer.
I am seeing Underworld Evolution soon, I loved the first one.
I am looking forward to seeing Pulse, X-men 3 (love the X-men and yes I used to read comics.), The New World (also have a huge liking for Native Americans, their culture and spirituality), Silent Hill, The Hills Have Eyes Remake, Ultraviolet.
The last three movies I bought were War of the Worlds (remake), Serenity (big fan of Joss and loved the Firefly series. The movie was great and stayed true to the show) and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.--This movie was awesome and terrifying. Not like The Excorcist at all, much more psychological and suspenseful. It is worth seeing and really makes you think. I promise you will get goosebumps.
** A little update to this section, I've seen a ton of movies since I wrote this but some of the more memorable ones recently are Spider Man 3 and 28 weeks later. 28 Weeks Later was incredible, better than the first. It's pure horror right from the get go! Other films I enjoyed recently were Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhaal and The Host, the Korean monster movie...this was very well done. Highly recommended.
I love Halloween and the Fall, celebrate it as if it were Christmas. Love all things spooky and creepy, pumpkins, bats, witches, werewolves, vampires, zombies, cemeteries by moonlight. I recently had the chance to tour the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Belmont, an incredible place full of old crypts, statues and art. I took many pictures that I am waiting to get developed.
I've studied Wicca, Reincarnation, Meditation, crystals, Tarot card reading, Bhuddism and many other spiritual things. Not sure right now in my life at 38 what I believe but it sure is fun to explore....UFOS, Bigfoot, Lochness....what do you think?
Some of my favorite shows have been Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-files, Xena Warrior Princess, Hercules, Star Trek, Tales from the Darkside, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate and a ton more.
I still watch cartoons. I love cheesecake (its my favorite dessert). Peanut Butter and Jelly is comfort food.
I have a little 3 1/2 year old dog named Buffy of course, who is part Pekinese and part Terrier and all terror. You can see her in my pics.
I love cooking, hiking, camping, swimming, dancing, painting, writing, reading, learning, exploring, laughing, going to the theater, the movies, live shows and so much more.
I have a very supportive family that I love, a wonderful boyfriend, and a great circle of friends but I am always looking to expand.
And that's a little about me.
My first paperback "Space Stations and Graveyards" is available on Amazon.com but my list of published books is ever expanding! Here are my latest and past published items. Just click on the links below the covers to go to their publisher purchase page. Thank you for any and all support or visit my website for more information on these titles and many more, including short stories I've recently had published, upcoming projects, cover art to future titles, anthologies I've either been in or will be in and a cool gallery of my amateur photography. There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

Are now available to order for your Halloween parties, Haunted Attractions, Concerts, Movie Premieres, and Zombie Walks!
We take a regular photo of you, turn you into a zombie, and place you on the very cookies you choose to sell at your event, or hand out as treats...but that's not all we can do.
We can take your logo, your promo posters, our photos of your cast members or attractions, and place them on the cookies too!
These are literally one of a kind treats, the cookies you order will be shipped to nobody else. Each cookie has a vivid image of your choice and are delicious. They come wrapped in cellophane with your choice of ribbon color and are then packaged in individual boxes (as seen in the photo above, boxes are optional). These are truly, edible works of dark art.
If you would like more info on pricing or zombie makeovers, feel free to contact me here on Myspace or go to myphotocookie.com
