THE WRITERS' CAFE is a spoken word and acoustic mixed media event that happens on the 1st Wednesday of each month (except on rare occasions when we have to change it for some reason). We are based at the Georgian Theatre in the Green Dragon Yard in Stockton on Tees (UK). We welcome poets / singer songwriters and creative people to join us and offer open mic spots too.

embrace underground music is generously being supported by the Hawkesmore in Hanley and now we have an intimate music venue to promote all kinds of talent in Stoke on Trent.
We're starting acoustically but eventually we'll turn on the amps!
