THE WRITERS CORNER - GLOBAL is a virtual community of writers of all kinds and all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to NY Times best sellers.
We provide a variety of classes and workshops in partnership with CAREER DOCTOR FOR WRITERS and THE LIARS CLUB.

Writers Corner – Global was created by JONATHAN MABERRY, a multiple Bram Stoker Award winning best seller and author of many novels and nonfiction books. Since 1978 he’s sold more than 1100 feature articles, two plays, short stories, columns, video scripts and poetry.
Jonathan is the co-creator and consulting producer (with Emmy Winner Laura Schrock) of ON THE SLAB, an entertainment news show in production with ABC Disney’s Stage 9.
Jonathan is an active member of the International Thriller Writers, Mystery Writers of America, Horror Writers Association, and Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America. He is a frequent lecturer at writing conferences and genre events; and serves as a speaker for the National Writers Union.

Jun 14 2009 7:55 PM .......Fans of Nightbreed we need to prove once and for all to the studios that there is a dedicated fan base that has been waiting for the director's cut of this film to reach DVD for years. With your support we could well influence a DVD release as a pure commercial decision, but we need to figure out just how large that audience really is. A small but noisy group will not make a difference here - we need to see just how many people would actually put down their hard-earned money for this... ..Remember, there isn't a Region 2 DVD release at all and the Region 1 release is a bare bones version missing the 25 minutes of footage that Clive would love to get back into the movie - a song, some violence, some structure... Breaking The Chain	Oct 18 2008 11:15 AM Please Help Save Our Theatre. In 2001, Victor Sobchak and Andy McQuade founded a theatre company at the Lion and Unicorn in Kentish Town. Over the years we have supported young actors, new writers, up and coming directors and entertained many thousands of people with bold and original theatre. In June, 2008, George Sallis, an actor who Sobchak gave his first theatre break to, surreptitiously contacted the owners of the Lion and Unicorn and offered them large amounts of money to take over the theatre. The owners accepted. It was an offer Victor Sobchak wasn't able to match. We're fighting back. Please sign our petition and help make a strike for what is good and right in this world.
