BooksWe've had many books published like:
  • "Solid Ground", an anthology of poems by our students
  • "City of One," an award-winning anthology
  • "Paint me Like I Am," an anthology with our sister WritersCorps organizations in DC and the Bronx,

    About me:
Hi! WritersCorps is a creative writing program for people ages 6 to 22. We provide writing workshops during school and after school in classrooms, libraries, community centers and other spots in neighborhoods around San Francisco. We put together events like open mics, readings, and poetry slams. We also publish books. Sometimes we take photos and make movies too. We are made up of teachers, students, and artists.

As a project of the San Francisco Arts Commission, we strive to give young people a safe place to express themselves, learn about writing, and improve their confidence. Learn more about us at: writerscorps.org
