This is really exciting for me because I've met so many
incredible people here. They have all shown me an amazing
amount of support as I walked that dark road to publication, and especially since
the disappointment of my publisher closing down last year
before the release of my debut novel, DAVID THORNE. Now I want to give
back. So kick up your heels, grab some coffee or tea or whatever
floats your biscuit and enjoy the ride. You are welcome to drop

A NOTE FROM ME TO YOU, MY DEAR AND CHERISHED FRIENDS
We as authors and artists
bring beauty to the world at large. We hold a great weight
upon our shoulders under this knowledge. And yet there are
days when we feel the burden of self-doubt and fear of rejection.
It with this thought in mind, as I too feel this way sometimes,
that I wanted to add the song, Faith of the Heart. It's a very
inspiring song. One we can all take into ourselves on those days
of fear and doubt. And know that one day all our dreams will come
true. And in honor of that impending moment, please check out the
blog post I put up about this very thing. I wanted to make the
link available always so no one will ever have to go looking for

DAVID THORNE: The Golithian Orbs is an edgy, 'tween fantasy.
Twelve-year-old, David Thorne never dreamed cities could be made of magic.
He never thought it possible that people could fly around on discs shaped like dragons, talk into
cell phones made of water, or float along on sidewalks that sit thousands of feet in the air.
Never did he expect that beyond his mirror waited a world where enchanted cars could fly on
their own, where television screens could be made of waterfalls and hover over a city wherein
anything is possible. And never did he expect, when he stumbled upon that world, that he would
not be accepted, that he would be feared by every citizen, and that he would be hunted by the
police for invading their realm.
The man frantically threw back the hood of his black cloak and
lifted the crying baby from the wooden crib. Closing his eyes,
he brought the baby close to his chest, unable to look down at
the mother's lifeless, accusing stare. He ran from the nursery
and made his way into the living room; no doubt it had once been
a cozy and welcoming part of the house. But the room was now darkened,
haunted under the cold and disturbing shadow of what had just taken
place. Difficult as it was, the man struggled to ignore the family
smiling at him from the photos that littered the house. He threw
the front door open, paused with one glance back and knew—when the
night's harsh wind slapped his skin—he had just abandoned everything
he had ever stood for.
No time to run.
Heart thundering, he......

When Fred was contacted by Betty, he was unaware of the torment and heartache he'd face. Excerpt: He only ever was in love with one woman. What's the difference of loving a gal compared to being in love? He knew the answer, oh yes he did. He had loved a certain gal for almost five years now. Five long, tough, lonely years—she was inside him all that time. She was like him in so many ways how would he not be in love with her forever? Would it be wise to share her name with you? he wondered, for it's all so very true. No, he'll change her name to respect her privacy. Also there were other gals before her and since they deserved anonymity, they received it. This story is ongoing and won’t end until the certain gal says yes or he takes his last mortal breath
Walk-It-Out Fundraisers, Inc. is a new non-profit organization that holds annual long distance walk events in order to raise funds and awareness for various social needs.
Our organization is holding their first walk event in California , scheduled to commence on September 26, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. The founders of Walk-It-Out Fundraisers, Inc., Timothy Pina and Danielle Pierre, will walk from Candlestick Park , San Francisco to Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego in order to raise funds and awareness for victims of abuse and homelessness. Our approximate arrival date in San Diego is November 1, 2009 .
We plan to have press coverage for this event at which time we will ask the public to donate at least $1.00 to each of these causes. With proper coverage, this event stands to raise a substantial amount of funds for both.
The proceeds from this event will be divided among the following agencies:
