The Writerz Bloc DJs are the OFFICIAL DJ CREW OF HARD KNOCK RADIO and are an Oakland-based collective of DJs Who Write and Writers Who DJ. We be writers, poets, authors, journalists, scholars, educators, bloggers, graffitti writers, and the like. Our weekly residency VIBES&SCRIBES at Oakland's VELVET is hosted by poet and educator CHINAKA HODGE.
