About me:

The Wrotham Arms, Broadstairs is a comfortable atmospheric pub a minute’s walk from the town centre and beautiful Viking Bay. The Wrotham Hotel, as it was originally called, began accommodating visitors in 1870. In 2007, the rooms upstairs were refurbished and now the Wrotham Arms once again has that pub – hotel ambience. Bed and breakfast is offered all year round.

THE WROTHAM ARMS FEATURES IN THE CAMRA GOOD BEER GUIDE 2009. Britain's original number-one, independent guide to good beer and good pubs.

Live music is featured every Saturday and most Friday evenings. A variety of music genres is offered, including folk, blues, country, and light rock. The Wrotham Arms is proudly one of the venues for the Broadstairs Folk Week held during August.

Food is served, cooked fresh with all ingredients obtained from the Broadstairs High Street. Children are welcomed and there is a separate menu for them. The pub can cater for a variety of special occasions and is equipped with free wireless broadband for internet connectivity.

The Wrotham Arms is a Shepherd Neame Public House offering fine kentish ales.

The THE WOODSHED SESSION is an open acoustic session led by Bob Kenward & friends. We welcome musicians and singers to participate, or just come along to hear great music and drink great beer! Our emphasis is on participation, so please bring songs that others can sing/play together. All talent levels are included.

Let every man so pitch his song
To help his neighbour sing along
Scowcroft/ Gifford “When All Men Sing”

THE WOODSHED SESSION is on the third Friday of the month and daily during Broadstairs Folk Week.

Watch this Duncan McFarlane Acoustic Band video taken at Kirkby Fleetham Folk Club First Birthday Bash for an explanation of the Woodshed name...

    Hi Wrotham Arms!
Thanks for getting in touch so quickly. We really enjoyed playing as 'Jiggit' for the Woodshed session a few weeks ago. I had a great night, and really hope we can come back and play again soon.

Hope to see you in the very near future.
