Bio:

Wrought is a four piece metal band with a southern grind from Fayetteville Arkansas. Since 2005 they’ve been thrashing stages and raising pulses with a combination of wretched vocals, blistering solos and energetic rhythms. In 2005 they won the Ozark Music Awards for "Metal Band of the Year" and "New Band of the Year". In 2006 they returned to the Ozark Music Awards and picked up two more awards. They received a second "Metal Band of the Year" award as well as “Album of the Year” for their freshmen release “Hand Crafted Metal”. Completely self-recorded, produced and promoted, "Hand Crafted Metal" had record-breaking local sales, and was reviewed in Brave Words Bloody Knuckles. In 2007 they followed up “Hand Crafted Metal” with their second album “We the People”. They continued to tear it up with some of the best regional as well like national acts such as Drowning Pool, Mushroomhead and Saliva until 2008. After a short hiatus vocalist Hurley and guitarist Dan brought in former Rise to Ruin members to fill the vacant spots left by Eric and Jay. With the addition of their new bassist Sam and drummer Chap, Wrought is looking to pick were they off by delivering high energy shows to hardcore metal fans of Fayetteville! .. ..
