The Gordon Highlanders, the many Pipe and Drum bands of the world, and of course the so loved sheep of the world also.
Wolf River Pipes and Drums was founded in 1992 in order to perpetuate and promote the proud heritage of Scottish music in the Memphis and Mid South Area. Since then it has played in local parades, funerals, weddings, memorial services, grand openings, business meetings, kirkings, festivals, picnics, parties, ceileidhs, and many other events; anywhere people gather for fun, entertainment, or reflection in Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi. We are a grade 5 pipe band trying for 4. We have won first 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in competitions in the past two years and our Swingin' Tenors placed 1st and 2nd in Glasgow, Kentucky this past year.
