中学３年生の時友達に作ってもらったCDで初めてラップに出会う。その時一番印象に残ったのはCOMMON - THE LIGHT. その後初めて買ったラップアルバムはNOTORIOUS B.I.G. - LIFE AFTER DEATH ギャングスタラップとパーティーラップが巧い具合に融合されててその後ラップを本格的に聞き出す。歌詞を書き初めたきっかけは高校二年生の時 EMINEM の アルバム MARSHALL MATHERS LP を聞いてから。叫びにも似たラップで度肝を抜かれ、STANみたいなサンプリング・センスにもやられ自分もやりたいと思い始める。高校卒業後都内のクラブで活動開始。
