Well, I used to produce the WTQ Live Music Series in the Boston area. Before that I launched an online music store (just MP3s) I closed it after every single indie artist that I had went to iTunes instead .. no hard feelings.. as a matter of fact I am now opening a new store. The Global Broadcasting Company and Eutelsat VisAvision GmbH have signed a contract for the launch of a seven channel English-language bouquet on the KabelKiosk platform in early 2009. Programming will be drawn from independent producers in the US.
The seven new thematic channels are America Unleashed, Total Hip Hop Television-(AIRS PIPERSPICS TV EVERY DAY AT 6:30 PM), News and Finance, Indie Pix and Classics, Faith Lifestyle, Indie Sports Games and Comedy and Travel Home and Garden.
The bouquet will broadcast via the Eutelsat Eurobird 9 satellite at 9 degrees East.
