Walk the Walk proudly brings you Sight & Sound the third Saturday of each month, celebrating the finest in San Diego's creative talent. This month's Sight & Sound features Tropical Depression, Republic of Letters, Joanie Mendenhall, Toni Pope, So Say We All, DJ Soo Cal, and more on November 21st at our new location Architecture @ 3956 30th St. 92104 in North Park.

Walk the Walk Presents... is an event production company celebrating the creative arts in San Diego. Founders Jon Block and Adam Rosen met at an Offspring concert when they were fourteen. Their love for grunge-era music - plus the fact neither had anyone else to play with - sparked a musical collaboration that lasted the next twelve years. It was towards the end of this period, however, that they began deriving more fun from attending their San Diego friends' concerts, exhibits, club nights, screenings, and stand-up performances.

They founded the ongoing monthly series SIGHT & SOUND in March 2008, which hosts performances from and creates a sneak preview of upcoming arts events such as Street Scene, San Diego Film Festival, and Healing Arts Festival. They also produced ART AROUND ADAMS (June 2008), the 1.5 mile arts & music walk in Normal Heights/Kensington, featuring Gregory Page, Anna Troy, two trolleys, and 75 artists participating in Adams Avenue businesses. They also worked on NORTH BY NORTH PARK, the San Diego transplant of Austin's annual South by Southwest music festival, which made its successful debut in August 2008.    

While their events provide an exhilarating kick in the ass to conventional socializing, Walk the Walk's real aim is to bridge the gap between artists and the public, shifting energies towards supporting local talent, and honoring those who stay the creative course no matter the obstacles.
