About me: We are the Wisconsin Union Directorate Music Committee. We book, promote, and cover shows every weekend at Union South's Club 770, and Memorial Union's Der Rathskeller / Terrace.
Our meetings are Mondays at 6:00 PM; check TITU for the location. Meetings are open to all UW-Madison students and Union Members.
All events are free and open to UW-Madison students, faculty, staff, Union members and guests unless otherwise noted.
Hey there WUDMC, FGC’s got some great shows coming up in Wisconsin the next few weeks. First up is Summerfest in Milwaukee, where we’ll be rocking the Miller Stage at 6:30pm on Friday July 4th (just before Phil Lesh!).
Next up are two FatFest pre-parties with Fat Maw Rooney: Thursday July 17th at The Majestic Theater in Madison and Friday July 18th at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee. Both shows are open to ALL AGES and will offer chances to win tickets to Fatfest!
Have a great summer and hope to see you out there!
If you haven't taken the time to vote for the MAMAS yet you still have until the end of the month to get your vote in. The L.O.S.T S.O.U.L.S are nominated for Artist of the Year in the Urban category. We thank you for your support in helping us accomplish this victory. www. themamas. org
Are you going to vote in the Madison Area Music Awards?
This is something I think all of us as artists should be taking extremely serious!!! If everyone represented themselves in this event and fully participated we could elevate the hip-hop community 100% we need to push each other to be better constantly and continue to network. Basically what I’m saying is you need to be part of the MAMA’s and you definitely need to vote.
