The 30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger. It allows students to experience hunger firsthand, while doing something to save some of the 29,000 children who die every day from hunger and preventable causes.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interested in making a difference in the world by feeding hungry children.
Watch the Puget Sound (WA) 30 Hour Famine challenge video!!! If local groups meet the challenge, one World Vision employee will get the WV logo tattooed on... well, you'll have to watch the video to find out.
Now check out the results from the Puget Sound 30 Hour Famine challenge! Did the groups raise enough for the tattoo? Find out now!

hey, before 30 hour famine a year ago i whenever my church would raise money for something i would always tell my parents to just give my 20 bucks and then give it to my church on the last day of the fundraising
then last year my church did something new
it was called 30 hour famine it totally transformed my look on the world and actually.. alot about myself
this year i baked about 200 cookies, brownies, muffins.. to sell for 1 $ each at my school.
i got alot of people saying i was keeping the money and they didnt believe that i was doing it for a good cause
at first it really did upset me.. but if you look at jesus and how when he helped the sinners, people looked down upon him. and alot did not belive what he was doing was gonna help anyone...
so i was proud to be looked down upon in a way, because i was a follower of jesus crist
i gave all my money to my church in a white envelope..
but the funny thing is..
i forgot to put my name on it;)
i want to say thank you.. for changing lives of people in 3rd world countries... and changing the lives of people like me.
