Maryse Ouellet (born January 21, 1983)is a Canadian glamour model and professional wrestler currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown! brand as their wwe divas champion.
Ouellet began her career as a beauty pageant contestant, winning Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada 2003 and finishing second at the International Finals of Miss Hawaiian Tropic 2004. After that she made several appearances in various newspapers, magazines and television programs in Canada, then became a Glamour model; appearing on the cover and inside pages of Playboy Special Editions Vixens in June/July 2006. She was also on the cover of Playboy's The Girls of Canada 2007 Calendar. She also appeared on the special edition of Playboy called "Blondes, Brunettes and Redheads".
In the summer of 2006, Maryse tried out for World Wrestling Entertainment's Diva Search. She made the final cut and was one of the top eight featured on WWE but on the July 24 episode of WWE RAW she became the second person to be eliminated from the search. Despite her elimination, she was invited to observe workouts and the training facility between August 13-17, 2006 at WWE's developmental facility, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Although she understood that there was no guarantee that this will lead to full time employment with WWE, she was grateful to have been given another opportunity to live out her dream. Stating in a WWE.com "I can just cry, [is] my feeling right now, " Ouellet said. "I’m very excited. It was very, very good news."
Maryse Ouellet was officially signed to a World Wrestling Entertainment developmental contract on August 24, 2006 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling for training. Her first jobs there were to sit in the front row during television tapings, take part in bikini contests and appear in backstage segments. After a while she began managing fellow French Canadian René Dupree at house shows. Her in ring debut came at a December 16, 2006 house show in Greensburg, Kentucky where she teamed with Katie Lea, Kelly Kelly, She Nay Nay, and Victoria Crawford to defeat ODB, Milena Roucka, Josie, Beth Phoenix, and Melody. In March 2007 she became a part-time backstage interviewer for OVW TV as well wrestling in dark matches prior to the OVW Tapings.
In the spring of 2007, Maryse participated in the 2007 "Miss OVW" competition which was won by ODB, later in the summer she participated in the 2007 "OVW Divalympics"; around that time she started managing Sylvain Grenier both in OVW and at the Raw/Smackdown/ECW House Shows. When FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) opened in the summer of 2007, Maryse was transferred to the developmental facility for training. After only managing Sylvain Grenier for weeks the idea for them to redebut on Smackdown were scrapped. On September 25, 2007, Maryse made her FCW debut as the valet of Ryan O' Reiley along with Lacey Von Erich. After Ryan left the WWE on October 10, 2007, Maryse then started competing in singles and tag team competitions. On December 18, Maryse was in the corner of Ted DiBiase Jr. when he captured the FCW Heavyweight Title.
On the September 22, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, Ouellet being dubbed as simply Maryse, was shown on the titantron welcoming the Montreal viewers in (French) to the season premiere of SmackDown! on the new CW Network. In January 2007, Maryse returned to Smackdown! in more pre-taped vignettes welcoming viewers back to the show in both English and French. Maryse made her first actual TV appearance with her entrance theme on the May 21, 2007 edition of WWE RAW to present Timbaland's new video "Throw It on Me". Since then, her welcome back segments have disappeared from SmackDown! again. In October 2007, Maryse participated in the WWE European Tour with the SmackDown! brand where she teamed with Michelle McCool in defeating Victoria & Katie Lea in a series of tag team matches. She reappeared on Smackdown on February 22, 2008 in a backstage conversation with Teddy Long.
Since then she's had a long history with former wwe diva cherry, wwe diva maria as well former divas champion michelle mccool she has established herself as one of the top divas in the wwe.

Maryse, Michelle & Natalya vs Melina, Mickie & Kelly We saw Maryse, Michelle & Natalya standing in the ring, waiting for the RAW divas. The RAW divas made their entrances. The match started off with Michelle and Maryse arguing. The RAW divas then attacked the Smackdown divas and they brawled outside of the ring. Melina and Maryse brawled. Mickie and Michelle faught for abit which lasted about 1 min and Michelle got the pin on Mickie making Smackdown get the draft pick. Melina turns out to be the draft pick. So does this mean our girl is going to raw?

Winners: Maryse, Michelle & Natalya (Smackdown)

Maryse drafted to RAW Matt Hardy deafted CM Punk as a result of a DQ when Jeff Hardy came out and attacked him gaining RAW a draft pick. Maryse was announced the newest RAW superstar and came out with her title. She did her hand gestures and looked stunning. Looks like our girl is finally on RAW, time for fresh, new opponants for her.

Maryse: I could care less where she goes. She seems to become more selfish, self-centered and self-absorbed as the day goes by. Agree with me or not, I don't really care. There comes a point that things get REALLY personal and it has gotten to that point for me. I made her look good for a long time whether you and/or she want to admit it or not (and I'm not talking aesthetically...if you don't know what that means, look it up). This is a give & take business and I'm tired of giving to her. However, before she leaves I do plan on taking one thing from her...my championship. That's all I have to say about that. Next.....

April 6th 2009 monday night raw

Maryse, Natalya, Gail, Maria & Eve vs Melina, Kelly, Mickie, Layla & Jillian The match started off with Gail and Melina. They both did alot of mat work and showed that both of them know what they are doing. Gail tossed Melina to the outside where Maryse attacked her. Gail then yelled at Maryse until Natalya tagged herself in. Natalya had the upperhand until Melina managed to tag in Mickie. Mickie and Natalya brawled for abit until Natalya went for the pin. Layla stopped the pin with a kick and Natalya chucked her out of the ring. The RAW and Smackdown divas started brawling on the outside. Mickie then got the pin on Natalya.

Winners: Melina, Kelly, Mickie, Layla & Jillian (RAW)

April 5th 2009 Wrestlemania

25 Diva Battle Royal to determine the first Miss Wrestlemania Thanks To PWInsider None of the Divas were introduced by name. The Divas started fighting before the bell even rang. Santino Marella is in the ring in drag. Mae Young and Candice Michelle were at ringside as guest timekeepers. Layla was out first, before the bell rang, then Rosa Mendes was tossed out. The announcers weren't even bothering to name which Divas were eliminated. Sunny and Torrie Wilson were eliminated. The Bella Twins were working together. Victoria eliminated Maria. The announcers didn't note Santino was in the ring. Gail Kim eliminated Jillian Hall and herself with a rana over the top rope. Beth Phoenix tossed out Tiffany and Eve Torres. Kelly Kelly and Molly Holly were tossed out, then Maryse. Phoenix was on a tear. They finally noticed Santino was in the ring, but didn't come out and name him. Victoria and the Bella Twins were eliminated, as was Natalya. It came down to Mickie James, Michelle McCool, Melina, Beth Phoenix and Santino. James gave McCool a rana, then went to the top rope. Michelle crotched her and went for a superplex, but Mickie fought her on the ropes. They tumbled to the floor and both were eliminated. Melina was working on Phoenix's back, but the Glamazon hit some elbows and went to toss out Melina. Santino came up behind Phoenix and Melina and pushed them over the top rope to win the match at the seven minute mark. There was a "Santino" chant.

Maryse did a signing with The Miz and John Morrison for Wrestlemania Axxess in Pasadena, Texas.I actually spoke to them,their very sweet.it was an honor.

March 30th 2009 18 diva tag match.

All the heel divas were all ready in the ring when RAW started. The faces made their way to the ring. The match started off with Jillian and Mickie until Mickie tagged in Tiffany. Tiffany did a few kicks and was impressive. Jillian tagged in Beth who got the upper hand by tossing Tiffany into the corner and then tagged Katie in. Tiffany rolled up Katie for the win. Then Santino comes out going on about how he isent in Miss Wrestlemania again and is only wearing a dressing gown. Maryse's face was hilarious when he got in the ring. Beth was pretty mad at him. Santino did a strip to the comedy of the divas and everyone else. They all attacked him afterwards and then the faces *again* stood tall in the ring whilst the heels left.

March 27th 2009 divas championship match.

Maryse entered the ring first wearing her white attire. She looked amazing! One of my favourite attires of hers. The match started and there was alot of lock up displayed between the two. They both ended up outside of the ring. They stared at each other and slowly entered the ring, still staring at each other. They went to lock up again until they ended up in the corner. Michelle speared Maryse down. Maryse then got the upper-hand and had it for most of the match until Michelle managed to reverse a move and get the upper hand until Gail Kim ran in making her WWE return. She got onto the top rope and jumped off kicking Michelle down and then went to Maryse and attacked her. Gail grabbed the divas title and held it up, glancing at Maryse. She then left leaving Maryse and Michelle laying in the ring.
