About me:
Wonder Women of America is a book about the girls who visit San Diego Comic-Con dressed in costume as their favourite fictional characters. They come in all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, and from all over the US and further afield. All the images in the book were shot during the July 2007 convention. Spread across the 192 pages there are 185 shots of more than a hundred characters, with quotes from many of the women giving added insight into why they dress up. Some are hardcore cosplayers known on the scene, others dressed up for the first time especially for the occasion. All add colour and glamour to this annual event.
Wonder Women of America will be published in the UK by Amos Novelties Limited and available in the US on import.
