About me:

I am a working artist in Phoenix with a BFA degree in Photography from Arizona State University. My passion is photography and the ability to capture the world as I see it in fragment of a moment, something so special I was able to stop that moment and treasure it. I am completely inspired by my environment and other working artists around me as well as those in our history. My current financial endeavors are in the wedding/commercial field but I do exhibit work in galleries, I think if I weren't a photographer my passion would lie in Museum studies/Gallery Curator. While weddings are my main bread and butter, I also do photography families, maternity/babies and seniors and am crazy about it! (you should check out my website to see some of my examples, www.meganrobbins.com) Some other influences in my life are my friends, family, music, politics and feminist theories. I believe that all of these fragments make up the core of my belief system as well as fuel my creative ventures.

Here are a few other things you may find interesting about me (in no particular order)... I am a maniac, I mean MANIAC, over animals, specifically mine. I have a pug named Snarley and a cat named Paris (after the city, NOT the célebutante. I am a HUGE nerd when it comes to shooting people ( with my camera people, say focused!), I get really excited and inspired by my clients and tend to show it, even I impress myself sometimes! I have a three night maximum for Las Vegas, a girl can only handle so much! I recently got a pink Schwinn cruiser, that I love. I cry very easily at weddings so rest assured I will probably cry at yours. Photography is in my blood, there is no denying it. .. .. .. Myspace Layouts

    WOW!!! You did such a beautiful job on Kristin and Steven's wedding. If I ever get married, you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO be there for me!!! They were literally the best wedding photos I've ever seen. Kudos, girlfriend.
