Andy Logan has been writing and performing music professionally for nearly 25 years. A Bay Area native, Andy moved to Santa Barbara and garnered attention fronting his first band, The Colours, a psychedelic folk-rock outfit. After moving to LA in 1984, the revamped group later became Little America and was quickly signed to Geffen. Little America landed two top ten singles, "Walk On Fire" and "Where Were You". After the breakup, Logan, who was the lead guitarist, co-lead singer, and main songwriter with the group, teamed up with Steve Earle’s drummer, Kurt Custer, and recorded “Custer and Logan”, a collection that was indisputably Americana before the word had even been coined. With his refreshing “Delta Blues meets the Beatles” approach to songwriting, Andy has released two critically acclaimed solo cds, “Last Dance On The Wild Frontier” and “Ride”, both of which are loaded with tunes that reached the finals or semi-finals in international songwriting contests. Logan also writes a page on his Website, “Song School”, which offers songwriting tricks and tips to budding songwriters.
Helou Andy! I have been enjoying your songs very much! Mississippi is probably the most perfect song ever written or performed! I hope to find your CDs here in Finland some day...
We've just launched our second Internet Radio Station on May 18, 2009. Our fisrt station was launched in May 1999 and it features Unsigned/Indie bands from around the world. The new station is dedicated to Unsigned/Indie Hard Rock and Metal Bands. We'd like it if you would stop by and check us out and tell us what you think. We'd also like it better if you wanted to add your songs to one of our stations.
